In 2008 I spent four months living in Brazil. Back then I barely knew how to use a camera, but the colour and energy of the place meant even my bad photos had something in them, from the favelas to Ipanema. Came back years later to shoot Patagonia, Argentina, and Mexico with better gear and slightly better instincts.
